Dredging and Capping for Future Ferry Terminal Construction: CDIM was the overall consultant project manager and technical lead for water quality monitoring for the Mission Bay Ferry Landing Dredging and Cap Construction project in the Mission Bay/Central Basin Waterfront area of San Francisco. We provided vessel-based water quality monitoring during dredging and sediment capping, including both real-time monitoring and at-depth sampling for high resolution chemical analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), to ensure compliance with San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board requirements.
Temperature and Harmful Algae Bloom Monitoring: CDIM provides on-water monitoring services facility that discharges water to the San Joaquin River. CDIM uses a 17-foot vessel to collect field measurements using a multiparameter devices as well as grab samples for harmful algal blooms (HAB) to maintain with the client’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.
CDIM maintains a Class A General Engineering Contractors License with Hazardous Substance Removal Certificate (1020239 A HAZ) and is a Local Business Enterprise (LBE) through the City of San Francisco Contract Monitoring Division (#CMD082017244).
